I don’t want to bore you with every detail so I’ll keep it short.  I grew up in  Onawa, Iowa. 
I had terrific parents! I moved to California to work with Charles (PEANUTS) Schulz. Later, I moved to Santa Monica, wrote for the cartoon studios, and drew my own comic strips, FIGMENTS,  YOU’RE GETTING CLOSER and others. 

My wife, Nona, and I have three kids, Jenny, Kevin, and Kit. They all live nearby and we have family dinner every Wednesday. We all like each other! I collect and play old tubas, drive my old English Morgan (Nona has one too) and sail. We live near the beach in a place called Rustic Canyon, (with lots of trees). I’M A LUCKY, LUCKY MAN!    Dale Hale 2001
